Every Sunday, St. Georgians bring non-perishable food or some money to add to the congregation's Second Collection - and in turn we do some pretty amazing things with several "fishes and loaves", not to mention loose change!
WARM is a coalition of congregations in St. Mary's County who ensure that persons who are homeless have food and shelter during the coldest months of the year. St. George's is a leader in this county-wide organization, having started the conversation that led to this organization as well as fueling leadership to keep its mission going.
Working together for the glory of God and the welfare of Christ's people, the outreach committee seeks ways to mobilize the people of this parish -- as well as our other assets -- to the service of others, especially those who need a helping hand.
