Presiding Bishop Visits Saint George's

On St. George's Day -- April 23, 2010 -- our Presiding Bishop, the Most Rev'd Katharine Jefferts Schori, visited St. George's. She preached at a celebratory Evensong, and spent the rest of the evening mingling with southern Marylanders in the churchyard - enjoying the vibrant azaleas and rich hospitality of Valley Lee. "It's so peaceful," Bishop Katharine told Fr. Greg following the worship service, "I feel like my blood pressure dropped 20 points." "It's always that way, Bishop," the rector responded, "It's always that way."
